Associate - Policy Issuance (P&C Insurance)

Grade: BPO 1/2
 Role: Associate
 Experience: 1 to 5 Years

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate with experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and Policy Issuance operations. The role involves independently processing policy issuance requests, ensuring compliance with underwriting approvals, carrier guidelines, and service level agreements while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Independently process policy issuance requests with accuracy and within defined turnaround times.
Review and validate policy documents against underwriting approvals and business requirements.
Ensure compliance with carrier guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Manage transaction quality and adhere to established SLAs.
Conduct thorough self-quality checks before completing transactions.
Handle complex cases, exceptions, and process-related queries.
Coordinate effectively with brokers, underwriters, client teams, and other stakeholders.
Support and guide junior analysts on process-related activities.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required.
Maintain accurate records and documentation within policy administration systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1 to 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance, Broking Operations, or Policy Administration.
Strong understanding of the P&C insurance lifecycle and policy issuance processes.
Experience in handling complex transactions and exception management.
Knowledge of underwriting documentation and policy validation requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with agency management systems, insurance portals, or policy administration platforms.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.
Exposure to client-facing interactions and stakeholder management is preferred.
