Job Description

  • Well versed in forging operations and shop floor practices.
  • Hands-on experience in the forging industry with exposure to heavy engineering/manufacturing environments.
  • Sound understanding of forging processes, parameters, and production requirements.
  • Ability to independently manage shift operations and achieve production targets.
  • Good knowledge of forging equipment, presses, manipulators, furnaces, and material handling systems.
  • Capable of coordinating with Maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to forging operations.
  • Ability to carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
  • Knowledge of TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Capable of identifying and driving productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Good understanding of safety standards and shop floor safety practices.
  • Effective manpower handling, team coordination, and work allocation skills.
  • Quick learner with positive attitude and strong ownership mindset.
  • Good communication skills with ability to converse in Hindi and prepare reports in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Good presentation and reporting skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance departments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional personality and collaborative approach.
  • Results-oriented with focus on operational excellence, quality, and customer requirements.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and handle shop floor responsibilities independently.
