Job Description

We are seeking a Senior OCI Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, and Security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and managing enterprise OCI environments while ensuring high availability, performance, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

OCI Infrastructure Administration

  • Manage OCI Compute, Storage, Backup, Load Balancers, DNS, and Platform Services.
  • Provision and maintain OCI environments across development, test, and production landscapes.
  • Support cloud infrastructure lifecycle management, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
  • Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

OCI Networking (Mandatory)

  • Design and manage OCI Networking components including VCNs, Subnets, DRG, Route Tables, Security Lists, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
  • Configure and support Site-to-Site VPN, FastConnect, Load Balancers, DNS, and Hybrid Cloud Connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot network performance, routing, latency, and connectivity issues.
  • Implement network segmentation and security architecture best practices.

OCI Security (Mandatory)

  • Administer OCI IAM including Users, Groups, Dynamic Groups, Compartments, and Policies.
  • Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), SSO, MFA, and Identity Federation.
  • Configure and manage Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Bastion Services, Vault, Key Management, and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
  • Perform security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reviews.
  • Support audit requirements and cloud security governance initiatives.

Monitoring & Operations

  • Configure OCI Monitoring, Logging, Logging Analytics, Alarms, Notifications, and Operations Insights.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and alerting for critical infrastructure services.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain operational dashboards, SOPs, and cloud runbooks.

Automation & Cloud Operations

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
  • Develop operational automation using Shell, Python, and Ansible.
  • Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps adoption initiatives.
  • Automate patching, backup validation, monitoring, and routine administration tasks.
