Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

 

Strong hands-on experience in Node.js and backend application development.

Good experience in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.

Hands-on experience in React.js and/or Next.js for frontend application development.

Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.

Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Design, and Browser Compatibility.

Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, or similar.

Experience using Git-based version control systems.

Good understanding of software development principles, design patterns, debugging, and performance optimization.

Experience working in Agile development environments using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar. < br />
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

 

Good-to-Have

Experience with Next.js features such as Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and API Routes.

Experience with frontend state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar.

Knowledge of Express.js, NestJS, or similar backend frameworks.

Experience in GraphQL development and integrations.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect, or similar.

Understanding of testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright, React Testing Library, or similar.

Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

Exposure to frontend performance optimization, SEO concepts, and accessibility standards.
