For Retail Construction Engineer, experience in fuel retail construction is an added advantage. The degree or diploma must be a regular full-time course (sandwich diploma with industrial training and no break is accepted) from a recognised Indian university or institute, with minimum 60% aggregate. This is relaxed to 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates only against a reserved position. Aggregate means the average of all semesters, and the percentage of marks is not rounded off, so 59.99% does not become 60% (for example). Age is counted as on 29 October 2026. The OBC, SC and ST relaxation applies only to posts reserved for that category, and after all relaxations the age can never exceed 50 years. PwBD candidates with 40% or more disability get 5 years’ relaxation. Ex-Servicemen get relaxation as per Government of India rules. OBC candidates in the creamy layer are not entitled to OBC concession and must apply as UR.

The exact figure inside the ₹12 to 14 lakh band depends on your qualification and experience. Other benefits follow the company’s PFTE policy. Remember that MRPL can end the contract early for poor performance or misconduct, with one month’s notice or one month’s pay in lieu. PFTE staff will not get an NOC for outside employment.

The notification says selection is through Personal Interview only. Screening is for elimination only and carries no weight in the final merit.
