Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop detailed project schedules for electrical works using Primavera P6/MS Project.
  • Prepare WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and activity-wise project plans.
  • Establish project baselines and monitor schedule adherence.
  • Develop micro-level execution plans for electrical systems and associated packages.
  • Identify critical path activities and propose mitigation measures for delays.

Monitoring & Progress Tracking

  • Track project progress against baseline schedules.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Monitor productivity, resource utilization, and construction milestones.
  • Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with site teams for progress updates and schedule compliance.

Coordination & Interface Management

  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Civil, Mechanical, C&I, and Execution teams.
  • Monitor material availability against project requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution.
  • Facilitate project review meetings and follow-up on action items.

Resource Planning

  • Prepare manpower deployment plans.
  • Monitor equipment and resource utilization.
  • Identify resource constraints and recommend optimization measures.
  • Support project management in budget forecasting and resource planning.

Project Controls & Reporting

  • Generate MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Prepare S-Curve, look-ahead schedules, and project performance reports.
  • Monitor project KPIs related to schedule, manpower, and productivity.
  • Maintain planning databases and project documentation.

Risk & Recovery Planning

  • Perform schedule risk assessments.
  • Prepare catch-up and recovery schedules as required.
  • Analyze bottlenecks impacting project execution.
  • Recommend strategies to minimize project delays and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualification

  • Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience

10-15 Years of exp.
