Scope of the role
Support in Managing world class quality product portfolio, drive topline & bottom line.
The profile involves work on Range Planning, Pricing, Promotions/Offers to deliver Sales growth and Profitability objectives using Analytics, Customer Research, Product Trends & retail feedback to deliver the objectives.
The role collaborates with Factory, Vendors, Retail, Marketing & production.
Drive Top line & Bottom line Growth & Target Achievement.
Job Profile
Product Portfolio
- Managing the universe of designs for sales growth & Gross contribution as per strategy defined by Category Manager
- Rationalization of the designs based on performance in terms of profitability or sales
- Track & Understand competition benchmarks & trends in the luxury jewelry segment in terms of the designs, pricing, range & policy
- Identification of product gaps & need for refreshers to grow sales using analytics, retail feedback & insights based on consumer research and early adoption of consumer trends.
- Product Life cycle management - Evaluate sales performance, margin profile, role of each design for the brand and in the portfolio to manage life cycle of the product.
Pricing
- Assist in the pricing of products in each category and price / weight band as per the profitability objective laid down by the category Manager.
Retail:
- Drive sell-thru activations, offers & incentives for retail team
- Review performance and maintain a library of store wise key data points and suggest action plans on Merchandising related improvements & alignments that would help objectives.
- Monitor the planogram effectiveness for Sales & Buyers
Key Deliverables
- Support Category Manager in achieving the topline & bottom line targets of the segments
- Ensure that the right product mix is available at all points of sale and at brand level
- Maintain a library of relevant data to facilitate decision making based on data points
The right person
- MBA or Graduated from reputed design institutes with minimum work experience of 1-3 years
- High degree of co-ordination abilities
- Assertiveness
- High order of communication skills
- High on learning capabilities
- Well versed with jewellery products, mfg techniques and certifications in gemology will be added advantage
