Manager, Business Intelligence, FTV - Experience

Fire TV, Advertising, and Appstore (FAA) is reshaping the way millions of people discover, engage with, and enjoy entertainment every day. The FAA Data & Analytics organization is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and Business Analysts supporting analytics and insights across our global product portfolio.


Key job responsibilities

This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and AI-powered insights — owning the analytics, dashboards, and stakeholder support that powers data-driven decision-making across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate manages a high-performing, globally distributed team of 6-10 members that delivers production-grade dashboards, self-service analytics tools, and AI/GenAI-enabled data products that accelerate how our stakeholders make decisions.

You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Finance and other teams across FAA to translate complex, multi-marketplace data into actionable intelligence — defining KPIs, building intuitive dashboards, and delivering insights that quantify business impact. This is a high-visibility role requiring both technical depth and leadership maturity to hire, develop, and mentor team members while operating as a strategic analytics partner to business and product leadership.

The FAA Data & Analytics team delivers trusted insights that accelerate growth, improve customer experiences, and drive data-driven decisions across Fire TV, Advertising, and Appstore. We operationalize insights into scalable data products, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled workflows. Our portfolio uniquely spans Entertainment, Appstore, Advertising, and Partners — offering broad exposure to diverse business models, customer segments, and measurement challenges in a single team. Our team is comprised of Business Intelligence Engineers, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers who take pride in building reliable, trustworthy data products that empower our stakeholders to make high-quality decisions.

Basic qualifications

- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 3+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience with AI/ML technologies

Preferred qualifications

- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
- Experience Managing a team of 5+ direct reports across multiple geographies
- Experience with AWS Tools and Technologies (Redshift, S3, EC2)
- Experience with experimentation and A/B testing frameworks
- Knowledge of the digital media, app marketplace, or entertainment technology space
- Experience building self-service analytics platforms that democratize data access across technical and non-technical consumers
