Job Title: Linux & Kubernetes Engineer

Experience: 6-10 Years

Location: Hyderabad, Raja Pushpa
Mode of interview: Walk-in/ F2F is on 5th September
Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Linux & Kubernetes Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in Linux administration, containerization, and Kubernetes platform management. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Kubernetes, Docker, automation, troubleshooting, and cloud-native infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Deploy, manage, upgrade, and support Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Configure and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for Kubernetes platforms.
  • Perform OS patching, hardening, security compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Shell/Python scripts and Ansible.
  • Manage storage, networking, ingress controllers, and load balancing within Kubernetes environments.
  • Support CI/CD integration and deployment automation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production incidents.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

Must Have Skills

  • Strong experience in Linux Administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and container technologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes components:
    • Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets
    • Services & Ingress
    • ConfigMaps & Secrets
    • RBAC & Security Policies
    • Helm Charts
  • Experience with Linux server troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Shell Scripting (Bash) and automation experience.
  • Knowledge of Networking concepts:
    • TCP/IP
    • DNS
    • Load Balancers
    • Firewalls
    • NFS
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Understanding of Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack.

Good to Have Skills

  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Ansible Automation.
  • OpenShift Administration.
  • Service Mesh technologies (Istio/Linkerd).
  • Kubernetes Certifications (CKA/CKAD).
  • DevSecOps exposure.
