Primary objective
Execute standard commercial loan servicing events accurately and
on time, maintain complete system and document records, perform
first-line controls and escalate exceptions promptly.
Key Accountabilities
• Process standard drawdowns, repayments, rollovers, rate resets, interest and fee events, and approved account maintenance using
defined procedures.
• Maintain borrower, facility, tranche, pricing, payment, accrual and notice data based on approved source documents and instructions.
• Prepare or validate notices, payment requests and supporting evidence within documented authority and cut-off timelines.
• Perform daily cash, suspense and transaction reconciliations; investigate straightforward breaks and route unresolved items.
• Track work queues, pending documents, aged items and client queries through closure.
• Complete self-checks, retain evidence and follow maker-checker, access, authorization and escalation controls.
• Support MIS preparation, SOP updates, cross-training and knowledge assessments.
Required Domain Knowledge and Skills
• Basic understanding of commercial loan structures, principal, interest, fees, floating-rate concepts and payment flows.
• Ability to read standard loan notices, booking data and operating procedures and translate them into accurate system actions.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, Excel capability and written communication.
• Awareness of operational risk, cut-offs, segregation of duties and audit-trail requirements.
