How to read the 216 total: the notice prints 216 as the grand total. That figure counts the PwD, ex-servicemen (ESM) and sportspersons (OSP) seats along with the category seats. The category columns (UR, ST, SC, ALC, EWS) alone add up to 197, so never add them up to 216 yourself. By category, ST-reserved seats number 164, EWS 23, UR 7, ALC 3 and SC none. Most seats are reserved for ST. The notice itself says the Board does not decide vacancies or the reservation roster, and the indenting departments can withdraw or change vacancies.

Diplomas for health posts must come from SMF or another recognised institute, as the notice says. If you are a 10th pass, 12th pass or graduate candidate, pick only the posts that match your papers.
The age limit is 18 to 40 years as on 1 January 2026, so you must be born between 01-01-1986 and 01-01-2008.

The exam date is not announced yet; it will be put on the LAHD-SSRB website, and the admit card can be downloaded only from there. Carry an original photo ID to the exam hall; without it you will not be allowed to appear, and entry is not allowed once the exam has started. Candidates must also be in good mental and bodily health.
Keep your Matriculation certificate, qualification papers, Domicile Certificate and a photo (JPEG, 20–50 KB) and signature ready. In-service candidates need a No Objection Certificate at document verification.
Only one application per category of post is allowed; duplicates are rejected, and no correction is allowed after final submission. Applications by post or hand are not accepted. If you are eligible under more than one category (ST and ALC, ALC and EWS, SC and ALC), you must choose only one at the time of applying.

The notice states one fee of ₹200 and lists no category-wise exemption. It is non-refundable and payable online by credit card, debit card, net banking or UPI. Bank charges are yours to bear, and an application without the fee is not considered.
