The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the notification for the Jharkhand Trained Assistant Acharya (Para Category) Combined Competitive Examination (JTAACCE) 2026, offering 7,304 Sahayak Aacharya (Para Teacher) posts. Online registration, earlier scheduled for 31 July 2026 to 30 August 2026, is now open from 29 September 2026 to 18 October 2026 (Revised). This recruitment is only for candidates already working as Para Teachers (Sahayak Adhyapak) under the Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojana Parishad (JEPC) with at least 2 years of continuous service. The official combined total is 7,304 posts (6,106 Regular + 1,198 Backlog).
All posts under both advertisements are reserved for candidates already working as Para Teachers (Sahayak Adhyapak) under the Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojana Parishad (JEPC), with a minimum of 2 years of continuous service as on the advertisement date, and must still be in service on that date.
Jharkhand residents who passed CTET or a neighbouring state’s TET can also apply, but must pass JTET within 3 years of appointment.
The minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age (calculated as on 01 August 2026) depends on your category.

Serving JEPC para teachers get age relaxation equal to their service period (up to a maximum age of 58 years). PwD candidates get 10 years and Ex-Servicemen get 5 years relaxation.

The Sahayak Aacharya posts come under the Jharkhand pay matrix, with two levels depending on the class you teach.
Selection is based on a single-stage main examination (OMR/CBT), followed by document verification. You can plan your study using our exam syllabus and preparation resources.
The exam is a single-stage OMR / Computer Based Test with objective (multiple-choice) questions and no negative marking. If the exam is held in more than one shift, marks are normalised as per the formula published on the JSSC website.

Pay only the fee meant for your category. If a candidate who is not a Jharkhand SC/ST resident pays the concessional ₹50 fee, the application can be cancelled and the candidature ended. Applications without the fee will not be accepted, and the fee is non-refundable.
