Job Description

Execute Material and Corrosion Engineering activities for offshore oil & gas projects. Support development and review of material selection studies and corrosion control philosophies. Assist in preparation and review of: Material Selection Reports (MSR) Corrosion Control Philosophy Corrosion Monitoring Philosophy Material Requisitions (MR) Technical Specifications Material Datasheets Corrosion Assessment Reports Perform material selection evaluations for piping, equipment, valves, structures, and process systems. Conduct corrosion assessments for: Internal Corrosion External Corrosion CO? Corrosion H?S Corrosion Galvanic Corrosion Erosion Corrosion MIC (Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion) Support preparation of corrosion mitigation and monitoring strategies. Review vendor material submissions and technical documentation. Assist in preparation of piping material specifications and material class development. Support coating, painting, insulation, and cathodic protection activities. Participate in technical reviews and interdisciplinary engineering meetings. Assist in conducting corrosion investigations and root cause analyses. Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards. Support procurement activities through technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews. Provide technical assistance during fabrication, construction, commissioning, and startup phases. Maintain engineering records, calculations, and project documentation.
