1 Sensitivity: LNT Construction Internal Use SECTION I: BASIC INFORMATION Job Function Supply Chain Management (SCM) Role Head - Rate Contracts Reporting to: Group Head - SCM Workplace Classification Office SECTION II: ROLE SUMMARY (Purpose of the Role) The role involves leading a team of supply chain professionals in the Central Supply Chain Department, overseeing Rate Contracts / Frame Agreements. The incumbent is responsible for defining sourcing strategies, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and aligning team goals with organizational objectives. The role also emphasizes stakeholder engagement, digital process improvements, and delivering value across project sites through optimized procurement operations. SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES Strategic Procurement ? Lead procurement for Rate Contracts or Frame Agreements ? Manage a spend of ?3500 Cr across segments. ? Support team performance through reviews and problem-solving. Strategic Initiatives ? Drive consolidation, standardization, and optimization of categories. ? Implement digital tools like price benchmarking and material catalogues. ? Collaborate across BUs and ICs to expand the Rate Contract portfolio. Stakeholder Management ? Engage with senior external stakeholders for better leverage. ? Build strong internal relationships to align decisions. ? Set up redressal mechanisms for supplier and service provider issues. Process Compliance & Governance ? Ensure adherence to procurement policies and processes. ? Manage approvals for deviations and implement audit recommendations. ? Continuously improve process efficiency and turnaround time. SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONS Internal Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction ? Finance Department ? IT Department ? Corporate Supply Chain Leadership ? Legal Department ? Individual ICs (Independent Companies) ? Regional Procurement Teams External Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction • Key Vendors & Suppliers • Supplier CXOs (CEOs, CMOs) SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE Minimum Qualifications ? B.Tech along with Post Gratuate diploma in Materials Management Language Skills ? English EXPERIENCE Years of Experience ? 15- 20 years of Experience 2 Sensitivity: LNT Construction Internal Use Nature of Experience • Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) roles within Project and Manufacturing organizations. • Proven leadership of large teams of SCM professionals. • Strong proficiency in commercial terms and conditions, with exposure to a wide range of categories including Supply and Service Contracts. • Demonstrated capability in negotiating large-value contracts, with end-to-end experience in the tendering process.
