The Head – Indirect Procurement is responsible for leading the organization’s indirect procurement strategy, governance, sourcing operations, supplier management, cost optimization, risk management, and digital transformation initiatives across all business divisions. The role acts as a strategic business partner to leadership teams and ensures procurement delivers measurable value through commercial excellence, innovation, compliance, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
The incumbent will lead a high-performing procurement team managing categories including Projects, IT, Marketing, Retail Operations, Store Fit-outs, Facilities Management, Logistics, Professional Services, HR Services, Corporate Services, CAPEX, MRO, Travel, Administration, Security, and other indirect spend areas.
· Develop and execute indirect procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
· Lead category management and sourcing initiatives across IT, Marketing, Retail, Facilities, Logistics, Professional Services, HR, Admin, and CAPEX.
· Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation initiatives.
· Establish strategic supplier partnerships and performance management frameworks.
· Lead commercial negotiations and contract management.
· Ensure supplier compliance, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
· Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
· Influence sourcing decisions and promote procurement best practices across the organization.
· Ensure compliance with procurement policies, controls, and audit requirements.
· Drive procurement digitization, process automation, and analytics-based decision making.
· Lead procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Lead, mentor, and develop procurement teams.
· Build procurement capabilities, succession plans, and high-performance culture.
· Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.

· 20+ years of progressive procurement experience.
· Minimum 8 years in indirect procurement leadership roles.
· Demonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing and transformation initiatives.
· Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and procurement transformation.
· Experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, E-commerce, or similar industries preferred.
· Exposure to procurement technologies such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or equivalent platforms.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, Operations or related discipline.
· MBA / PGDM from a reputed institute.
