Every post has the same split of 4 General/UR and 1 SC seat. The seats split into 16 General/UR and 4 SC. The table in the notice shows no seats for BC-A, BC-B and EWS.

Reservation is as per Haryana Government policy. To claim it, attach a caste/category certificate issued by the competent authority of Haryana. Candidates from reserved categories of other States are considered only against the General category. The number of posts is provisional, and the laboratory may increase, decrease or not fill any post.
For the three scientific posts, the subjects are Zoology, Physical Anthropology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or Forensic Science (or an equivalent qualification in these subjects). Zoology or Botany must be one of the subjects at B.Sc. level. The degree must be from a recognised university.

Know the terms before you apply. The job is contractual for one year (or till the need ends) and gives no right to regularisation, absorption or pension. Staff may have to work in shifts, including 24×7, and can be posted at Karnal or any unit in Haryana. Leave is 8 Casual Leave and 2 Restricted Holidays a year. Resigning needs one month’s notice or one month’s pay in lieu. The selected candidate must give a notarised undertaking on ₹100 stamp paper.

The shortlist is shown on the lab Notice Board and the official website. No call letter is sent by post, so check the website often. Candidates must carry original certificates, or they will not be allowed to appear in the interview. Selected candidates must join within 7 days of the engagement order, or the selection is cancelled. Government or PSU employees must apply through proper channel or bring a No Objection Certificate at the interview. Interview travel costs are your own; no TA or DA is paid.

Applications that are incomplete, not in the prescribed format, without self-attested documents or received late are summarily rejected.
