Responsible for the design, engineering, and implementation of Specialty Gas and Chemical Delivery (SGCD) systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities, ensuring the safe, reliable, and continuous supply of ultra-high-purity (UHP) gases and chemicals required for critical process operations. Develop and review detailed engineering deliverables, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), equipment layouts, piping routing drawings, and technical specifications in accordance with project requirements and semiconductor industry standards. Perform system design calculations, line sizing, pressure drop analysis, material selection, and capacity assessments for gas distribution networks and chemical delivery systems. Coordinate the design of gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes (VMBs), bulk gas systems, specialty gas distribution, chemical storage and dispensing units, and associated monitoring and control instrumentation. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams comprising process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping, civil, safety, and construction engineers to ensure seamless project execution and system integration. Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, risk assessments, vendor evaluations, procurement support, installation oversight, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities. Ensure compliance with SEMI standards, environmental regulations, hazardous material handling requirements, EHS policies, and site-specific safety protocols while focusing on operational reliability, process efficiency, quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement throughout the facility lifecycle.
