Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Services Business Consultant with strong expertise in Capital Markets and Digital Assets to drive business analysis, product development, and platform transformation initiatives. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technology teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver scalable products across traditional and digital asset ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and impact assessment across Capital Markets and Digital Asset platforms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define and execute transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Assess current-state and target-state operating models and identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design end-to-end workflows covering onboarding, trading, settlement, custody, and asset servicing processes.
  • Collaborate with front office, trading, custody operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver business solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and product demonstrations.
  • Act as a Proxy Product Owner by supporting backlog management and delivery prioritization.
  • Define integration requirements, APIs, data flows, and system interoperability needs.
  • Support UAT, release management, production validation, and post-implementation activities.

Technical requirements

  • Strong experience in Capital Markets, including Trade Lifecycle, Settlement, Reconciliation, Custody, and Securities Processing.
  • Hands-on exposure to Digital Assets, Cryptocurrencies, Stablecoins, Crypto Custody, Wallets, and Trading Platforms.
  • Understanding of Blockchain technologies, Digital Asset Tokenization, and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT).
  • Knowledge of AML, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Regulatory Compliance frameworks.
  • Expertise in Business Analysis methodologies within Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of API integrations, data flows, and platform interoperability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.

Additional responsibilities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with institutional digital asset custody platforms such as Fireblocks, BitGo, or Anchorage.
  • Exposure to Tokenized Assets, Real World Assets (RWA), and Digital Securities.
  • Understanding of exchange, broker-dealer, and custodian ecosystems.
  • Experience in data analysis, reporting, and operational processes within trading or custody environments.

Desired Profile

  • 12–15 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or Business Consultant within Financial Services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Product-oriented mindset with a high degree of ownership.
  • Ability to work effectively within global, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
