Position Summary

 

The EHS Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety programs across project sites to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, client requirements, and company EHS standards. The role requires strong leadership in promoting a zero-harm culture, risk management, and continuous improvement in safety performance.

 

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

      • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and management systems across projects.
      • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and client standards.
      • Lead safety inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
      • Drive incident prevention programs and investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
      • Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
      • Conduct safety training, inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
      • Establish emergency preparedness and response plans and conduct mock drills.
      • Track key EHS KPIs and prepare reports for management and clients.
      • Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and internal stakeholders on EHS matters.
      • Mentor and manage EHS teams across multiple sites/projects.
      • Support HAZOP, JSA, PTW, LOTO, confined space, work-at-height, and contractor safety programs.

 

Experience & Education

      • 18+ years of experience in EHS management within large industrial, infrastructure, semiconductor, EPC, manufacturing, or construction projects.
      • Proven experience managing EHS functions for large-scale greenfield or brownfield projects.
      • Strong knowledge of statutory safety regulations and international EHS standards.
      • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science or related discipline.
      • Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, or equivalent.
      • Certified Safety Professional qualifications preferred (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, etc.).
