Job Purpose
Acquire new merchants and increase business penetration by engaging portfolio merchants and cross-selling other banking products.
Key Responsibilities
Volume Growth
Increase acquiring volume across cards and UPI; Drive growth in card transaction volumes.
Cards Spends
Increase card spends through issuance and activation; Promote card usage among existing and new customers.
Portfolio and Relationship Management
Provide sales service to portfolio merchants for acquiring and issuance; Enhance portfolio volume and float to increase bank share; Strengthen client engagement to deepen relationships.
Cross Sell
Promote cross-selling of bank products like CASA, T&E cards, and assets; Leverage merchant relationships to drive additional product sales.
New Relationship
Acquire new relationships for acquiring and issuance; Set up payment gateways and ensure activation.
Education:
Graduation in Engineering or Computer Science; MBA in Marketing preferred.
Certifications:
Project management-related qualifications.
Key Competencies
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, multitasking, logical reasoning, ability to travel, proficiency in MS Office.
Major Stakeholders
Payment Acquiring, Corporate Cards, Customers, Branch Banking Team, Product Team, Operations, Risk & Policy.
