Digital Transformation Manager

Role Overview

We are hiring a Digital Twin Engineer /Manager  (EPC Focus) to support the creation and implementation of digital twins across the engineering, procurement, and construction lifecycle of large Oil & Gas EPC projects.

This role focuses on design validation, construction planning, progress monitoring, and project optimization, rather than operations or maintenance. The candidate will work across BIM, engineering models, and 4D/5D simulations to deliver high-fidelity digital representations of assets during project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Twin Development for EPC

• Develop project-phase digital twins aligned with engineering design and construction workflows
• Create integrated models combining D-Twin, BIM (3D), schedule (4D), and cost (5D) data
• Support digital continuity from concept design to as-built models

2. Engineering & Design Integration

• Integrate multi-disciplinary engineering models (civil, mechanical, electrical, piping) into a unified twin
• Work with tools like Dassault , Navisworks, Bentley, AVEVA, or Hexagon platforms
• Ensure alignment between engineering deliverables and digital twin models

3. Construction Simulation & Planning (4D/5D)

• Develop construction sequencing simulations (4D) using scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Link project schedules and cost estimates to digital models for progress tracking and forecasting (5D)
• Identify clash detection, constructability issues, and optimization opportunities

4. Data Integration & Information Management

• Establish data pipelines connecting:
  • Engineering design systems
  • Procurement systems
  • Construction progress data
• Ensure adherence to Common Data Environment (CDE) practices
• Implement data standards (CFIHOS , BIM standards)

5. Progress Monitoring & Digital Reporting

• Enable visual project tracking using digital twin dashboards
• Integrate field data (e.g., drone scans, LiDAR, site updates) for progress validation
• Support real-time or near real-time construction performance insights

6. Collaboration Across EPC Stakeholders

• Work closely with:
  • Engineering teams (design consultants)
  • Procurement teams
  • Construction/project management teams
• Facilitate digital coordination and stakeholder alignment through the twin

7. Handover & Digital Asset Delivery

• Prepare as-built digital twin models for project handover
• Ensure data readiness for transition to operations digital twin (if applicable)
• Maintain traceability of design changes and construction updates

 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree  /Diploma  in:
  • Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Computer / IT Engineering 
  • Construction Engineering / Project Management
  • BIM / Digital Engineering or related field
• 4–10 years of experience in:
  • EPC projects / infrastructure / industrial projects
  • BIM and digital engineering environments
  • Construction planning or project controls
• Strong familiarity with:
  • BIM tools (Hexagon, Dassault, Navisworks, Aveva , etc.)
  • Scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Data integration platforms

? Preferred Skills

• Experience with Digital Twin platforms:
  • Dassaault / AVEVA E3D / Hexagon Smart Digital Twin
  • Azure Digital Twins (project-phase usage) 
• Knowledge of:
  • 4D/5D simulation and project controls
  • CFIHOS and BIM standards
  • Laser scanning / photogrammetry / drone data integration
• Basic of programming or scripting:
  • Python, C#, or APIs for integration
