Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical aspects and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and ensuring that the application meets the desired requirements and quality standards. Collaboration with various teams to align on project goals and deliverables is a key part of the daily routine, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of the software solutions to enhance performance and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by following best practices and standards.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to optimize functionality and user satisfaction.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Pega Platform.
- Strong understanding of application design and configuration within the Pega environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues.
- Ability to work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Pega Platform.
- This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
