Job Requirements

LEAD ER & PEOPLE COMPLIANCES

You will lead a team, oversee ER practices, and be accountable for people compliance monitoring, ensuring contract staff administration, payroll, labor laws, and other people-related compliance adherence across retail and other office premises. You will identify and drive initiatives to ensure fair practices while managing disciplinary matters. In your role, you will drive the function's programs and enable the People Function team to achieve its objectives.

Location: Bengaluru, On-Site


CALL OF DUTY:

  • ER Capability Building for People Function: You will be responsible for identifying gaps and designing programs to build the People team's ER capability at retail and regional offices. You will conduct sessions to build compliance knowledge and competence.
  • Labour laws and Other Regulations: You will drive and ensure compliance requirements of all applicable regulations for retail and offices.
  • Nominations and KYC management: You will manage KYC administration on the employer PF portal & ESI portal for on-roll employees.
  • Functional Excellence and Networking: You will organize and participate in ER network meetings. You will conduct audits for manpower operations and perform statutory audits.
  • Contract Labour Management: You will monitor the CEMS and coordinate with the vendor partner for the effective implementation of all modules.
  • Retail and Offices Compliance Monitoring: You will monitor all HR compliance tasks mapped to retail and regional offices and ensure the closure of tasks as per the timeline.
  • Disciplinary Matters: You will advise the people function for appropriate actions handling domestic inquiries.


Work Experience

JOB ESSENTIALS:

  • Postgraduate degree, preferably LLB/MBA/MSW
  • Demonstrate 12-15 years in ER practices & compliance, preferably in manufacturing plants/retail
  • A candidate should showcase Boldness, Agility and Technological proficiency
  • Possess knowledge of labour laws, compliance, industry practices, time office administration, payroll process, labour market trends and grievance management
  • Competence in managing disciplinary matters, liaising with government authorities, and handling labor matters before forums and labour courts
