Project Role Description : Act as liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations. Communicate service delivery health to all stakeholders and explain any performance issues or risks. Ensure Cloud orchestration and automation capability is operating based on target SLAs with minimal downtime. Hold performance meetings to share performance and consumption data and trends.

Summary:
As a Cloud Services Engineer, a typical day involves serving as the key connection between the client and internal operations teams to facilitate smooth support and timely escalation processes. This role requires continuous monitoring and communication of service delivery status to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency regarding any performance challenges or potential risks. The engineer oversees the orchestration and automation of cloud services, striving to maintain operations within agreed service level agreements and minimizing downtime. Regular performance review meetings are conducted to discuss consumption patterns, share insights, and identify opportunities for improvement, fostering a collaborative environment focused on service excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud service objectives and operational goals.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and support skills.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud service delivery and operational efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Experience in managing database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation tools related to database environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with database replication, clustering, and high availability configurations.
- Skilled in monitoring tools and scripting to automate routine database administration tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
