Amazon Out of Country (OOC) team is focused on bringing exciting international brands to customers in India. This role entails working with multiple Amazon stakeholders and international brand partners to deliver a best-in-class experience for new international brands entering the Indian market, and help existing international brands expand their presence on the Amazon platform in India.<br/><br/>The objective of this position is to drive business growth by successfully launching and expanding international brands on Amazon India, delivering competitive pricing and unique product selection to Indian customers.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have experience in brand management or international business development, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working across multiple complex functions and capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders. The candidate should be adept at analysing market trends, consumer behaviour, and sales data to make strategic decisions. Proficiency in a foreign language is highly desirable.<br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>- Identify and engage with potential international brands that align with Amazon India's growth strategy.<br/>- Conduct deep dives into international market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to identify promising opportunities for brand launches in India.<br/>- Develop compelling business cases and strategies to convince international brands to enter the Indian market through Amazon.<br/>- Work closely with senior executives at interested international brands to successfully negotiate deals and facilitate their entry into the Indian market.<br/>- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to set priorities, develop launch plans, and ensure smooth onboarding of new international brands.<br/>- Manage the entire launch process, from initial outreach to post-launch performance monitoring and optimization.<br/>- Review and monitor performance and sales of launched international brands, providing strategic guidance to ensure their success in the Indian market.<br/>- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international brand partners, serving as their primary point of contact and advocate within Amazon India.<br/>- Stay informed about country-specific regulatory changes, import policies, trade agreements between India and partner countries, and market dynamics that may impact international brand launches.<br/>
- 1+ years of sales experience<br/>- Bachelor's degree
