Key Responsibilities
· Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for smartwatches and new smart product categories — from product inception through to launch.
· Define detailed product specifications and drive new feature introduction by writing clear, comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for both individual features and the complete product.
· Shape product positioning and craft the feature set with a sharp understanding of how the product fits the market and differentiates from competitors.
· Identify and manage product risks, positioning gaps, and opportunities — bringing a keen eye for detail to every stage of development.
· Generate a strong pipeline of product ideas and convert them into concrete, actionable plans.
· Define and manage product scope, and coordinate closely with Firmware (FW) and App development teams to ensure deliverables are met within timeline and agreed scope.
· Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the product development process.
· Own each development milestone and drive it to completion with the relevant stakeholders at every stage.
· Strengthen and sustain product development processes through disciplined process adherence.
· Create product catalogues that clearly explain product features and value propositions for internal and external audiences.
· Stay continuously on-trend with market developments in the smart wearables category — conducting market visits and supplier visits to deepen category understanding and inform product decisions.
· Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
· Excellent Communication Skills - Able to clearly and compellingly articulate product details, features, and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Full understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
· Excellent PRD writing and product specification skills.
· Keen eye for detail — able to spot product risks and positioning gaps early.
· Ability to generate ideas and, more importantly, drive them to execution.
· Skilled at reading and interpreting data (market trends, product performance, user insights) and translating it into clear, actionable conclusions that influence and drive product decisions.
· Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
· Swift, sharp, confident, and a genuine self-motivator who takes ownership.
· A working knowledge of JIRA and other product/project management tools is preferred.
· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools — Excel, PowerPoint, and Word — for analysis, presentations, and documentation.
· Ability to create clear, compelling product catalogues that communicate features and value effectively.
