Job Description

Responsibilities

Execution
  • Execute sourcing requests, including RFQ preparation, response tracking, and price comparisons, as per defined SOPs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely closure of sourcing service requests while adhering to established SLAs.
Process Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to sourcing policies, approval hierarchies, and governance controls in all sourcing transactions.
  • Maintain sourcing documentation, including RFQs, vendor responses, and related records.
  • Support audit preparedness by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of sourcing data maintained in the system.
  • Report any compliance deviations or process-related issues to the Lead - Sourcing.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Coordinate with procurement requesters, vendor representatives, and internal teams to ensure smooth processing of sourcing transactions.
  • Resolve routine queries from business units and escalate complex issues to the Lead - Sourcing.
  • Collaborate with Master Data, Governance, and Contracts teams to ensure alignment of sourcing activities.
  • Support vendor communications for document collection, clarification requests, and sourcing-related follow-ups.
MIS & Continuous Improvement Support
  • Update sourcing trackers, dashboards, and MIS reports as per the defined review cadence.
  • Assist in monitoring sourcing KPIs, including turnaround time, compliance adherence, and request closure rates.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve sourcing efficiency, turnaround time, and overall vendor experience.
  • Support the adoption of new tools, workflow enhancements, and automation initiatives within sourcing operations.
  • People & Performance Management
    • Ensure all Operations Team Leads and team members (new and existing) are effectively inducted into the new operating model, performance expectations, governance mechanisms, and critical business scenarios.
    • Drive a culture of outcome-focused and customer-centric service delivery through end-to-end process awareness and business sector appreciation sessions.
    • Support capability building and continuous learning initiatives to enhance operational excellence across teams.
    Compliance, Governance & Service Delivery
    • Drive adherence to SLAs and KPIs across purchase order processing and post-PO operations.
    • Ensure contract and purchase order compliance through proactive monitoring of exceptions, deviations, and corrective actions.
    • Leverage SAP MM, Ariba Commerce Automation, and workflow management tools to enhance process visibility, control, and efficiency.
    • Monitor service delivery performance and support timely resolution of operational bottlenecks.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance frameworks, and audit requirements across procurement operations.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Commerce, Management, or Engineering.
Certifications in Procurement or Sourcing Operations (optional).
2–5 years of experience in procurement operations, sourcing execution, or techno-commercial support.
