Roles & responsibilities

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead / Operations Lead with strong expertise in HD Mapping and LiDAR operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in HD map annotation, team management, client engagement, delivery governance, quality management, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end HD Mapping and LiDAR projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Lead and mentor teams, monitor productivity, and drive performance targets.
  • Handle client communication, requirement gathering, status reporting, and escalations.
  • Oversee capacity planning, resource utilization, workload distribution, and delivery tracking.
  • Drive quality audits, RCA, corrective actions, and continuous process improvements.
  • Prepare and present operational MIS, KPI dashboards, productivity, and quality reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve risks and delivery challenges.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HD Mapping, LiDAR workflows, and map annotation concepts.
  • Experience with road feature annotations including lanes, lanelets, curbs, crosswalks, intersections, traffic signs/signals, and related features.
  • Proven experience in team and client management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Expertise in productivity tracking, capacity planning, and quality management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and data-driven decision making.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Automotive/ADAS projects.
  • Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau.
  • Basic SQL/Python or automation exposure.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience handling project transitions, ramp-ups, and new project onboarding.

  • Stakeholder Interaction & Management 

    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality in the delivery for accounts
    • Interact and engage with the client manager to communicate and update progress against account plan, project delivery etc.
    • Participate in monthly review meetings with Account Delivery leadership  updating them on the status and progress of the account
    • Work with quality team to ensure the quality improvements as per the delivery standards of the contract
    • Provide timely assistance in case of an escalation and support resolution of escalations/ issues
