Job Description

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of C&I systems across plant operations.
  • Manage PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
  • Develop and review control philosophies, loop diagrams, logic diagrams, and instrumentation specifications.
  • Ensure calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of field instruments.
  • Monitor plant automation performance and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Utilities, and Production teams during projects and shutdowns.
  • Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning, and performance testing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and quality procedures.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and AMC service providers for automation systems.
  • Support digitalization, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and process optimization projects.
  • Analyze instrumentation failures and drive RCA and corrective actions.
  • Mentor engineers and technicians for capability enhancement.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related discipline
8-12 years of experience in C&I engineering, industrial automation, manufacturing, power, process, or renewable energy industries..
