Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, your day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. You will engage in detailed investigation to identify root causes of problems, ensuring smooth operation and minimal disruption. Collaborating with different teams, you will provide timely resolutions and maintain system stability, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of business applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
- Continuously monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience in managing database security and user access controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and automation scripts to optimize database operations.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
