Role: Senior Alfresco Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Alfresco Engineer to lead the technical implementation of an enterprise-level document and records management solution. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering solutions using Alfresco while collaborating with cross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and third-party service providers. Required Experience

  • Strong experience in Alfresco solution architecture, development, integration, and implementation.
  • Experience integrating document or records management platforms with enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on expertise in API integrations and microservices.
  • Full-stack development knowledge using Angular, C#, JavaScript, and .NET Core.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on engineering and technical leadership for document and records management solutions implemented using Alfresco.
  • Lead technical discussions and guide team members on engineering best practices, industry standards, solution design, and product capabilities.
  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, IT governance, security, and technical standards.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, customers, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure seamless system integrations.
  • Define the target solution architecture and recommend suitable technical solutions for a global and compliant document and records management platform.
  • Design and develop Alfresco-based solutions, including content models, workflows, security configurations, APIs, and integrations.
  • Validate vendor responses and conduct technical assessments.
  • Review technical proposals, solution designs, and implementation approaches.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues.
  • Support testing, deployment, documentation, and post-production activities.
  • Mentor technical team members and support knowledge-sharing activities. [JD Alfresco (1) | Word]

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Expert-level experience with Alfresco Development Framework
  • Previous experience working with Documentum
  • Microsoft Azure Solution Architect certification
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise integrations
  • Understanding of enterprise document retention, compliance, and records management standards
