Job Summary

Job Summary : We are looking for a motivated Yellowbrick / ClickHouse DBA to support and optimize high-performance analytical database environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in database administration, monitoring, performance tuning, automation, and production support for large-scale data warehousing and analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities • Administer, monitor, and maintain Yellowbrick and/or ClickHouse database environments. • Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management. • Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations. • Troubleshoot database-related incidents and ensure system availability. • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. • Support data ingestion, ETL workloads, and analytical reporting requirements. • Automate routine database administration tasks using scripting tools. • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning processes. • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams to support business requirements. • Maintain operational documentation and support procedures. Required Skills • 1 to 3 years of experience in Database Administration or Database Support. • Hands-on experience with Yellowbrick, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, or analytical database platforms. • Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization. • Experience with Linux/Unix environments. • Knowledge of SQL and database performance tuning concepts. • Basic scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Bash for automation. • Understanding of backup, recovery, and database security concepts. Preferred Skills • Experience with data warehousing and analytics platforms. • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Exposure to monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch. • Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipelines. • Experience working in production support environments. What We\'re Looking For • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Passion for database technologies and automation. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
