Horizontal reservation is applied within these 208 posts — Women 40, Ex-Servicemen 8, PwBD 7, Outstanding Sportsperson 4 and Dependents of Freedom Fighters 3. Only those candidates may apply who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and have been issued a PET 2025 score card by the Commission. Shortlisting for the Main written examination is done on the merit of the PET 2025 normalized score, category-wise up to 15 times the advertised posts.
