Latest Update (23 September 2026): Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) have released the RRB NTPC UG Answer Key 2026 notice for viewing the CBT-II questions, responses and answer keys of CEN No 07/2025 — Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate). Your 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) was conducted on 17 September 2026, and a link will now be provided on the common website of all RRBs so that every candidate who appeared in CBT-II can open their own question paper, see the response recorded against each question, and match it with the official key. That link stays active from 24 September 2026 at 23:55 hrs to 30 September 2026 at 23:55 hrs — not a minute before, and not a minute after.
If you spot a question, an option or a key that you believe is wrong, this is your one chance to say so. Objections against the questions, options and keys are raised through the same link, and the online fee payment happens in the same window. Here is the exact time schedule the notice gives, so you can plan your evening around it.
| Activity | Date and Time |
|---|---|
| Viewing of questions, responses and keys, raising of objections and online fee payment | 24.09.2026 at 23:55 hrs onwards |
| Closing of viewing, objection raising and payment window | 30.09.2026 at 23:55 hrs |
The prescribed fee for raising an objection is Rs.50/- plus applicable Bank Service Charges per question. Please read that carefully — it is per question, so five objections mean five times the fee. This is an objection fee only; it has nothing to do with the application fee you paid at the time of applying. If an objection you raise is found to be correct, the fee paid against that valid objection is refunded to you after deduction of applicable Bank charges, and the refund goes back to the same account from which you made the online payment. You can pay through UPI, Net Banking, or Debit Cards / Credit Cards.
The detailed procedure, along with the necessary guidelines, will be available in the link provided on the official website of RRBs — so open the link first and read the instructions there before you pay for anything.
RRB has put two hard conditions in this notice, and both work against a candidate who waits until the last evening. First, you are advised to raise your objections well before the final date and time, that is 30.09.2026 at 23:55 hrs, after which no representation from candidates on the questions, options or keys will be entertained. Second, the decision of RRBs on the objections raised shall be final and binding, and no further correspondence shall be entertained from candidates in the matter.
So do not treat this as a formality. Open your response sheet calmly, compare every doubtful question with the key, and raise only the objections you can actually defend — an objection found to be correct gets its fee back, less bank charges. Keep screenshots and the payment receipt of whatever you submit. Follow only the official RRB websites for the link and for any further notice on this stage, and keep checking GovtJobsAlert.in for every RRB NTPC UG Answer Key 2026 update and the next milestone of CEN 07/2025.
Latest Update (14 September 2026): The CBT-II E-Call Letter (Admit Card) download was opened for RRB NTPC Under Graduate (CEN 07/2025). Railway Recruitment Boards put this as a rule rather than a fixed date: “Downloading of E-Call letters will start 4 days prior to exam date mentioned in Exam City and Date intimation LINK.” So the download opened four days before the exam date printed in each candidate’s own City & Date intimation — not on one common date for everybody. Candidates logged in with their Registration Number and Date of Birth and kept two printouts. Your CBT-II was held on 17 September 2026.
The Exam City & Date intimation came first. It sat on the same candidate login and went live about 10 days before the exam, and it gave the city and date. SC/ST candidates could download their Travel Authority from that very same link. Counting back four days from that exam date gave the day the E-Call Letter appeared. RRB ran CBT-II on the TCS iON platform, and an official mock test link for this CEN was available from the candidate login — it used the same question palette, navigation and timer style as the live exam, which is why candidates were told to take it once before exam day.
Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication was done at the exam centre before candidates were allowed into the exam hall. So candidates carried their original Aadhaar card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar along with the E-Call Letter. Those who had not authenticated their identity through Aadhaar had to log in with their credentials at rrbapply.gov.in and finish it before exam day — not on exam morning. The Aadhaar also had to be left in UNLOCKED condition in the UIDAI system before travel, and this applied even to candidates who had already verified Aadhaar while submitting the application. The Aadhaar had to carry the correct name, date of birth as per your Class 10th certificate, latest photograph, biometrics (if not updated after you turned 14), address and father’s name.
Two last things, kept here for the record. Follow only the official RRB websites for further updates — please do not be misled by unauthenticated sources. And beware of touts who promise appointment for money: RRB selections run on Computer Based Test merit alone, and nobody can change your exam city or date for you. The CBT-II was held on 17 September 2026 and this download window has closed — keep an eye on your zone’s RRB website and on GovtJobsAlert.in for the stages that follow.

Latest Update (26 August 2026): The CBT-I Score Card link is now ACTIVE for RRB NTPC Under Graduate (CEN 07/2025). Candidates who appeared in the 1st Stage CBT can now log in and see individual marks and qualifying status, along with the question paper attempted and the recorded responses with the correct answers marked. Log in with your Registration Number and Date of Birth on the RRB candidate login portal.
This score card is the same login window promised when the CBT-I result was declared, and it opened as scheduled on 26 August 2026 at 5:00 PM. Download and save a copy of your score card the day you open it — RRB keeps such candidate-login windows open only for a limited period, and no closing date for this one has been announced.
The score card does not replace the zone-wise shortlist. Your shortlisting for the 2nd Stage CBT is decided by the roll-number list published by the RRB you applied to, and the score card only shows you how your marks sit against that decision. If your roll number is in that list, the CBT-II was held on 17 September 2026 as covered in the CBT-II exam date section of this page — the Exam City & Date intimation link went LIVE (the Exam City & Date link is covered in the CBT-II E-Call Letter update on this page) and the E-Call Letter opened 4 days before the exam, so your CBT-II performance, not your CBT-I score card, is what decides the stages that follow.
If your score falls short this time, read your score card properly before you move on and keep the marks on record — knowing exactly where you stood is the most useful input you have for the next RRB CEN. Use only the official RRB websites and the official candidate login for your score card — no agent, cyber cafe or Telegram channel can change or improve a declared CBT-I score.

Latest Update (24 August 2026): Railway Recruitment Boards have issued the tentative schedule for the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) of CEN 07/2025 — Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate). Your CBT-II was held on 17 September 2026, and it applied to every candidate provisionally shortlisted in the CBT-I result covered in the CBT-I Result section of this page.
The link for viewing the Exam City & Date — and for downloading the Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates — went LIVE on the official RRB websites, and the E-Call Letter could be downloaded 4 days before the date shown in that intimation link.
Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication was done at the exam centre before candidates were allowed into the exam hall, so candidates carried their original Aadhaar card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar. Two things had to be settled before exam week, not on exam morning: candidates who had not authenticated their identity through Aadhaar had to log in with their credentials at rrbapply.gov.in and do it then; and the Aadhaar had to be left in UNLOCKED condition in the UIDAI system before travel — even for those who had already verified it while submitting the application. The Aadhaar also had to carry the correct name, date of birth as per your Class 10th certificate, latest photograph, biometrics (if not updated after you turned 14), address and father’s name.
Follow only the official RRB websites for further updates, and ignore touts promising appointment for money — RRB selection runs on CBT merit alone. The CBT-II has since been conducted on 17 September 2026.

Each RRB has published its own zone-wise list of Roll Numbers provisionally shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT, so you must check the result on the website of the RRB you applied to. Your individual scorecard, marks and qualifying status went live on 26 August 2026 at 5:00 PM and that score card link is now active — log in with your Registration Number and Date of Birth, and you will also be able to see the question paper you attempted with the correct answers marked. The 2nd Stage CBT date is now announced — 3rd week of September 2026 17 September 2026 (Conducted): the Exam City & Date intimation came about 10 days before the exam and the E-Call Letter 4 days before. Candidates whose roll number was in that list went on to the CBT-II held on 17 September 2026. If yours was not, take a breath: this is one exam, not the end of the road.

Key allowances include:
The selection for all RRB NTPC (UG) posts is a multi-stage process. Candidates must clear each stage to move to the next. The process consists of the following stages:
This is the common first-stage test for all candidates. It is of screening nature — your normalised CBT-I score is used to shortlist candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT on merit, so CBT-I marks are not merely qualifying. The pattern is as follows:
Candidates shortlisted from the 1st Stage will appear for the 2nd Stage CBT. Marks from this test decide the final merit for all four posts — for the two typist posts, the 2nd Stage CBT marks are first used to shortlist candidates for the Typing Skill Test, and the merit is then drawn from the 2nd Stage CBT among those who qualify that test or are exempted from it (as eligible PwBD candidates may be). The pattern is:
This test is only for the posts of Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist. It is qualifying in nature, which means the marks are not added to the final merit list. However, candidates must pass this test to be considered for these posts. The requirements are:
