The pay depends on the cadre you select, and all posts follow the Maharashtra 7th Pay Commission pay matrix.
Along with the basic pay, employees receive Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other benefits as per Maharashtra government rules, giving a stable and respectable monthly income.

Selection happens in two clear stages — one common Preliminary exam, followed by separate Main exams for each service.
