IBPS has revised the indicative vacancies for CRP CSA-XVI (IBPS Clerk) 2026 to 11,663 posts, up from 11,403. A corrigendum dated 29 September 2026 updates Annexure-I of the 1 August 2026 notification with State-wise and bank-wise figures. They remain indicative and may include backlog vacancies for some banks; provisional allotment will follow the actual vacancies reported by the banks. Union Bank of India is shown as “NR” (Not Reported), not zero. All other terms and conditions stay unchanged, including the PET call letter details on this page. 📄 Download IBPS Clerk 2026 Revised Vacancy Corrigendum PDF (29.09.2026) | 📄 Download IBPS Clerk 2026 Updated Annexure-I State-Wise Vacancy PDF
The Pre-Examination Training (PET) call letter for CRP CSA-XVI (IBPS Clerk) 2026 is now available for download. It concerns only candidates who opted for PET in their online application — the notification says PET may be arranged in Online Mode for a limited number of candidates from the SC, ST, OBC, Minority Communities, Ex-Servicemen and PwBD categories. Log in with the registration details you received when you applied. The notification lists PET only as September 2026 without exact dates, and IBPS has issued no separate PET notice PDF, so go by what is printed on your own call letter. Please note one line from the notification: merely attending PET gives no candidate any right to be selected in any participating bank. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for October 2026. 🔗 Download Admit Card for IBPS Clerk PET Call Letter 2026 (CRP CSA-XVI) | 🌐 Visit IBPS Clerk Official Website | 📄 Download IBPS Clerk 2026 Detailed Notification PDF (PET rules in Section J)

Benefits beyond basic pay follow the allotted bank’s rules in force from time to time.
Selection has three stages, and only your Main Examination marks decide the merit.
This is a screening test — prelims marks are not added to the final merit.

|---|---|---|
| English Language | 30 / 30 | 20 minutes |
| Numerical Ability | 35 / 35 | 20 minutes |
| Reasoning Ability | 35 / 35 | 20 minutes |

Penalty: one-quarter of each question’s marks. You must clear a minimum score in each section and in the aggregate. Main marks out of 200 are converted out of 100 for provisional allotment, and multi-session scores are normalised by the equi-percentile method. Use our exam syllabus and preparation material to prepare.
After provisional allotment you must clear a qualifying LLPT in your opted language. Candidates who studied that language up to Class 10 or above (with certificate) are exempted. The allotted bank then verifies documents.
