Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, is a renowned public technical university located in the city of Nagpur, Maharashtra. Established in 1960, VNIT is one of 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in India and has been conferred with the status of an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. The institute is named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya, a legendary engineer, planner, and statesman who made significant contributions to the development of India.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligible candidates must possess a minimum of three years of research experience in the relevant field. The applicant should have earned a Ph.D. degree or an equivalent in the relevant subject area from a recognized university.

1. Applicants must hold at least two Postgraduate Qualifications in the relevant branch/field, and one of them should be in the same branch/field as the proposed teaching job
2. The applicant should have published research papers in any national or international publication, and proof thereof is required to be attached with the application form.
3. The candidate must hold a valid GATE Score Card
4. A bachelor’s degree with first class and M.Sc. degree with first class in relevant subject from a recognized university
